Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivables professional to support daily accounting operations by accurately coding and entering invoices into the accounting system. This role plays an important part in maintaining organized financial records and ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has prior accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within established financial processes. Success in this role requires accuracy, organization, and effective communication while collaborating with the accounting team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Code invoices accurately according to company accounting procedures
  • Enter and post invoices into the accounting system in a timely manner
  • Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
  • Communicate with internal team members regarding invoice questions and discrepancies
  • Assist with accounts receivable processes and administrative accounting tasks as assigned
  • Ensure data accuracy while meeting processing deadlines
  • Support the accounting team with additional financial tasks as needed
  • Spend approximately 25–50% of each shift handling phone-based communication

  • Back-ups in case of power or Telco interruptions
  • Good headset and webcam (Preferably noise-canceling headset)

 

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
  • Remote work environment

 

Compensation

  • Starting at $5/hour depending on experience.
  • All raises and bonuses are at the discretion of the client.
