Job Description
About the Role:
The Data Coordinator supports the Business Development team by ensuring prospect data is accurately researched, organized, and maintained within Salesforce. This role plays a key part in strengthening the quality and reliability of business intelligence data used for outreach and decision-making.
Working closely with the Manager of Business Intelligence, the Data Coordinator will conduct online research to identify and verify prospect information, proactively communicate any data issues or project challenges, and ensure all records are consistently updated and accurate across systems. This role is essential in maintaining clean, actionable data that supports growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dynamic online research to gather and validate prospect data using Microsoft Copilot and other available tools
- Enter, update, and maintain prospect records within Salesforce with a high level of accuracy and consistency
- Review and clean data to ensure completeness, correctness, and alignment with internal standards
- Communicate proactively with leadership regarding data gaps, inconsistencies, or project-related challenges
- Collaborate with the Business Development and Business Intelligence teams to support ongoing data needs
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and support data validation tasks
- Manage and store working documents using SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools
- Use Microsoft Outlook and Teams for daily communication and coordination
- Spend approximately 0–25% of the shift on phone-based communication when needed for clarification or support
Qualifications & Skills
Important Skills:
- Strong online research and data validation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage large sets of data
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Ability to proactively identify and communicate issues
- Basic analytical thinking for interpreting and validating information

Work Schedule & Environment

Compensation
$5/hour. All raises and bonuses are at the discretion of the client.
