Job Description
About the Role:
The Insurance Administrator supports critical insurance administration processes by processing and tracking insurance invoices, assisting with AP/AR billing inquiries, and reviewing insurance certificates for accuracy. This role helps ensure insurance-related documentation, billing, and lifecycle activities are handled accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with insurance documentation and billing-related inquiries. The ability to learn new industry-specific software and communicate professionally with clients and internal teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track insurance invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable billing inquiries
- Obtain insurance certificates and review them for accuracy and completeness
- Distribute insurance certificates to the appropriate parties
- Support critical insurance lifecycle processes and ensure required steps are completed
- Maintain accurate insurance records and documentation
- Research and resolve insurance and billing-related questions as needed
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Follow up on outstanding insurance documentation and billing matters
- Spend approximately 50–75% of each shift handling phone-based communication

- 5 MBPS or higher Internet (hardwired / not WIFI). If you don’t have 5 MBPS then you must agree to if selected.

- Back-ups in case of power or Telco interruptions
- Good headset and webcam (Preferably noise-canceling headset)
Work Schedule & Environment
- Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST
- Remote work environment
- Primarily insurance administration, billing support, and customer service with regular phone communication
Compensation
- $5/hour.
- All raises and bonuses are at the discretion of the client.
