Job Description
Greenville, SC- based company is currently in need of a remote Contracting & Credentialing Assistant! Tasks will include but not limited to:
• Manage Provider Documentation & Applications: Responsible for collecting and organizing provider licensure and credentialing documents. Maintain these records and prepare both initial and re-credentialing applications. Must ensure all applications are consistent and complete, and follow up regularly on their status.
• Maintain Accurate Records & Ensure Compliance: Update provider information in payer portals such as CAQH and NPPES, as well as in internal databases. Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and ensure compliance with payer requirements. Track credentialing tasks and timelines to help keep the process on schedule.
• Coordinate Communication & Support: Communicate updates about credentialing statuses to relevant team members and log this information in internal systems. Support rate negotiations and follow up on pending applications via phone, email, or payer portals. Collaborate with billing staff to resolve any credentialing-related issues and provide general administrative support to the C&C team.
• Other tasks as required
The phone time for this role is 25-50%

4. Back-ups in case of power or Telco interruptions
5. Good headset and webcam (Preferably noise-canceling headset)

Work hours:
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Central Timezone
10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Manila
