Atlanta, GA- based company is currently in need of a remote Closing Specialist. About the Role:
The Closing Specialist is responsible for supporting the closing process by preparing and completing required documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely communication with customers. This role plays an important part in ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
Due to the highly regulated nature of this work, the ideal candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. Success in this role requires accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate data within company systems
- Prepare, review, and complete documents required for closings
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer emails and inquiries
- Ensure closing files are complete and organized according to established procedures
- Verify documentation accuracy and identify discrepancies for resolution
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable federal regulations
- Coordinate with internal teams to support timely transaction processing
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding items as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the closing process
- Spend approximately 75–100% of the shift handling phone communication
