Job Description
About the Role:
The Accounts Receivable Associate supports the Accounting team by managing billing communications, applying account charges accurately, and assisting homeowners with account-related questions. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role requires excellent communication, strong critical thinking, attention to quality, and a dependable approach to handling high-volume customer interactions and financial account responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Send billing statements to homeowners on annual, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual schedules.
- Apply late fees and interest to accounts accurately on a monthly basis.
- Correspond with homeowners regarding billing statements, account balances, payments, and related questions.
- Spend approximately 75–100% of the shift on the phone communicating with homeowners and addressing account needs.
- Respond to homeowner inquiries with urgency, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
- Review work carefully to ensure billing and account information is accurate and complete.
- Use critical thinking to research account questions and determine appropriate next steps.
- Maintain timely follow-up and close the loop on homeowner requests and outstanding issues.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal interactions.
- Maintain dependable attendance, follow established accounting processes, and complete assigned responsibilities consistently.

Work Schedule & Environment

- 8-hour workday with a 30-minute break
- Remote, customer-facing accounting environment
Compensation
- $5/hour.
- All raises and bonuses are at the discretion of the client.
