Job Description
About the Role:
The Pricing Analyst supports the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team by developing accurate pricing models, reviewing pricing requests, and maintaining a comprehensive pricing database for individual communities. This role partners closely with the Sales team to ensure pricing is accurate, competitive, and aligned with contractual agreements and business objectives.
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate enjoys working with financial data, identifying trends and anomalies, and building pricing models that support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review pricing requests submitted through HubSpot and ensure timely processing
- Audit pricing templates for completeness, consistency, and accuracy
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop custom pricing models for prospective clients
- Build and maintain a pricing database for individual communities by reviewing contracts and pricing terms
- Analyze pricing data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Interpret contract language to ensure pricing aligns with agreed-upon terms
- Maintain accurate pricing records and supporting documentation
- Support the FP&A team with pricing analysis, reporting, and financial insights
- Investigate pricing discrepancies and identify data anomalies for resolution
- Spend approximately 0–25% of each shift handling phone-based communication
Qualifications & Skills
Important Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of income statements and financial analysis
- Experience with pricing analysis, financial modeling, or FP&A functions
- Ability to recognize data patterns and distinguish between expected and abnormal results
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts
- Ability to organize and analyze large datasets
- Experience using HubSpot; Power BI experience is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Compensation
- Starting at $5/hour depending on experience.
- All raises and bonuses are at the discretion of the client.
